When you do a search on a job board like Indeed, it searches the entire job description for that keyword(s) and returns back any jobs that have keyword in it. They are ususally relevant jobs but not always.
For example, lets search the term 'recruiter' in Rhode Island. For the first two pages you see relevant positions that match that role. However on page 3 of results, 2 jobs stand out as UN-related.
As you can see those two jobs are not related to recruiting in any way. They just happent to mention the word in the description which Indeed's algorithm picked up on. So to avoid sifting through irrelevant postings try the tip in our video.
By limiting search results to only those that match your job title exactly, you may find it makes your search more efficient.
